Karolina Muchova vs Alycia Parks – Roland Garros Highlights

Czech Karolina Muchova knocked out No.19 seed Aliaksandra Sasnovich and American Alycia Parks defeated Zhang Shuai to set up their second-round clash at Roland Garros. It was Muchova who came out on top in three sets to secure her spot in the third round for the second time in her career.

Parks started well in the opening set, breaking her opponent early to take a 2-0 lead. She kept her focus to take the set 6-4, however, the experienced Muchova responded well in the second set, leveling the match by taking it 6-2. The final set was a tight affair, with both players struggling to hold serve. In the end, it was Muchova who finally found her rhythm to take the set 6-4 and the match.

The Czech player, who reached the fourth round at Roland Garros in 2021, will face either Amanda Anisimova or Harmony Tan in the third round.
