Liam Payne’s Girlfriend Kate Cassidy Reveals What He Said Just Before He Died
The singer died suddenly last month at age 29.
Pop star Liam Payne’s girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, has shared a small glimpse into the couple’s final moments together before the singer’s death last month at age 29.
In a post on her Instagram story, Cassidy shared a video of a picturesque beach at sunset, with a song by the electronic music producer and DJ 4B playing in the background. According to The Daily Mail, Cassidy captioned the post “forever would have been enough,” seemingly referencing the lyrics to 4B’s song, “Forever.”
Payne and Cassidy, who were reportedly set to go public with their relationship in the coming weeks, were together in London when he died. She marked the 25th of August, the day of Payne’s death, by posting a photo of a fuchsia-colored flower surrounded by roses.
“You’ll be sorry when I’m gone,” she wrote, again seemingly referencing the lyrics to 4B’s song.
Payne’s family also honored his memory on the 25th, sharing a photo of a smiling Payne dressed in a white shirt and a brown jacket, with the caption “And suddenly you’re gone.”
“It still doesn’t feel real, you’re not gone,” the family added in a caption to a separate post. “We miss you so much already, my boy. My handsome, cheeky, charming Liam. I love you to the moon and back and I always will.”
