When Is ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 Coming Out? Here’s The Really Good News

The devil of Hell’s Kitchen is making his return to the small screen, and fans can’t hold back their excitement. But when will Daredevil season 2 be released? Here’s everything we know so far.

It has been a long time since the first season of Daredevil premiered in April 2015. But after a long wait, the second season is finally set to debut later this year. With the success of Marvel’s TV shows on Disney+, the new season is also heading to the streaming service exclusively.

With the release of the new Spider-Man movie, fans have been treated to a brand-new trailer for Daredevil season 2. And it looks epic.

The trailer opens with a dramatic scene involving Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), as he’s seen holding a bloody knife while a terrified woman is on the ground. Cut to Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) wondering if his friend is “the devil,” and we’re left with a massive cliffhanger.

While the trailer doesn’t give much away in terms of plot, it does confirm that season 2 will be based on the “Born Again” story from the comics, which sees matt go up against a dangerous enemy called Fisk, who has it in for both Matt and Foggy.

If you’re a little rusty on the comics, here’s the lowdown. The story sees Fisk try and destroy Matt’s life, forcing him to spend all his time and energy defending himself in court. Fisk has everyone Matt cares about turned against him, including Foggy and even Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll).

In the trailer, we see a snippet of this, as Foggy says: “Matt, you’re my best friend, but right now I don’t know what you are. I don’t know who you are.”

But it’s not all bad news, as the trailer also gives us a glimpse of Matt in his black suit, which suggests he will become Daredevil before the end of the season.

When Will Daredevil Season 2 Be Released?

Well, the good news is that Daredevil: Born Again will be released on Friday, March 18, 2023, on Disney+. That’s less than a year after the first teaser trailer was released, which is pretty quick by Marvel standards.
