Capcom Shares Updates on Onimusha Series, Capcom Fighting Collection 2, and Monster Hunter Wilds
Capcom has shared new details about the Onimusha series, Capcom Fighting Collection 2, and Monster Hunter Wilds during its “Capcom Collabo Collection” live stream event.
Onimusha Project
During the live stream, Capcom confirmed that the company is working on a new title in the Onimusha series. The company revealed a teaser trailer for the project, which you can check out below:
Though no further information was revealed about the new Onimusha game, Capcom did confirm that it will be a home console title and will not be a remaster of any existing games.
Additionally, the company teased that more information about the project will be revealed in the future.
Capcom Fighting Collection 2
Capcom also announced a new installment in its fighting collection series, following last year’s Capcom Fighting Collection.
Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will include 12 titles, with new online functionality and various other improvements. The collection will include the following games:
– Avengers: Infinity Fight! (1995)
– Battle Circuit (1997)
– Big Bang Bar (1992)
– Captain Commando (1991)
– Cyberbots: Full Metal Madness (1995)
– Darkstalkers: Night Warriors (1994)
– Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure (1997)
– Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition (2003)
– Red Earth (1995)
– Super Adventure Rockman (1994)
– Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers (1993)

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will be released in February 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Monster Hunter Wilds
Capcom also shared a new trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds, an expanded version of the Monster Hunter: World collaborative title Monster Hunter Rise.
The new trailer reveals that the title will include a new quest mode, featuring new stories and missions.
Monster Hunter Wilds will be released on January 20, 2023, for the Nintendo Switch.
