Delta Air Lines ampliará su red de vuelos a Latinoamérica y el Caribe

Delta Air Lines announced on February 9th that it will invest in an expansion of its network to Latin America and the Caribbean, including new destinations, additional flights and new aircraft.

This expansion aims to meet the needs of customers returning to travel to these regions, which Delta Air Lines has not been able to serve as well as before due to the impact of the pandemic.

Among the destinations to be added are Santiago, Chile and Quito, Ecuador, which will be added to Delta’s network in August, as well as Curaçao and Grand Cayman, which will join the network by the end of the year. The airline will also increase the number of flights to existing destinations, such as Miami and Mexico City, and will upgrade aircraft to larger planes on certain routes.

Delta Air Lines stated that with this expansion, it aims to grow its presence in these regions and strengthen its position as a leading airline in the industry’s recovery.
