Rashid bowls a poor last over and Kohli capitalises, hitting him for a four and a six to end the over. Rishabh Pant, promoted up the order, also looks in good touch as he hits a boundary off Willey. India look to be accelerating, as they reach 135/2 at the end of the 20th over.

Jadeja was the hero for India with the ball, taking 3/46 as he bowled superb spells of spin, while Chahal also picked up a couple of wickets. England were cruising at one point, with Root and Malan in the middle, but once they were dismissed, the rest of the batsmen couldn’t keep up the momentum. India have now won the crucial third ODI, and the series stands at 2-1 with two matches to go.

Earlier, England were bowled out for 246, with Jadeja taking three wickets and Chahal and Siraj picking up two each. Root top-scored with a valiant 86, but lacked support from the other end.
